World Leukemia Day 2021 and Instagram Hop

 World leukemia Day
4th September 2021

Welcome to the World Leukemia Day Hop
 #WLDayHope #WLDforGaia
World Leukemia Day on September 4 is a global campaign led collaboratively by patient groups around the world. Is the day of the year when people around the world can come together to help raise awareness about leukemia. By increasing leukemia awareness and educating the world about the signs and symptoms of this condition, we can work together to help patients with this disease receive early diagnoses, help more people, improve their quality of life after diagnosis, and give them hope!
But can we really do anything? Yes, we can:
Donate blood
Donate bone marrow
Help research with contributions.

My experience

It was November 2020 and my 12 year old daughter Gaia had a little fever and sore throat, the next day bruises appeared on her legs and arms, we then decided to do a blood count. It was 11:00 am and by 3:30 pm we were already in the hospital...the doctor uttered a word I never wanted to hear, LEUKEMiA.

We went into a whirlwind of fear, a true nightmare, but the words CARE and RESEARCH ignited our HOPE. I know it's like that for so many families around the world, it's the one thing that unites us, Hope.

In the hard times, creativity and love of cardmaking helped me to keep going, to fill my mind with positive thoughts that would help my little girl not to see her mommy sad and that was crucial for her.

Now I turn to you all to ask you to help research, because it is thanks to research that we find cures, many children and many patients in the world will be grateful to you.

I want to join these two names, LEUKEMIA and HOPE in the name of my Gaia and of all the sick people in the world!!

On this special day, cardmakers from all over the world have joined us and created a card inspired by Hope. These incredible artists have dedicated their time to awareness, visit all of our artists to see their wonderful inspiration.

Benvenuti al World Leukemia Day Hop
 #WLDayHope #WLDforGaia

Mental Healt, Art for your Mind

Welcome to the Mental Health Day Blog  Hop, where a Cardmakers group wants to represents a topic that is very close to our hearts, ART FOR YOUR MIND through our cards

We want to point out how important Arts is in our life!

When we think of the word- Mental health, one might think of issues like Depression, Schizophrenia or Bipolar disorder. But even stress, anxiety are forms of mental health issues. If these are left unmanaged for long time, they may need medical attention. Art helps us to relax and rewind from everyday stress. There is a sense of happiness in creating art, which is therapeutic. When we enjoy the process of creating art, we tend to forget the negative emotions and stress.

I created my card thinking about how good it is to be able to relax and have fun, creating with colors, paper and stamps.

My cardmaking starts from the heart and I love to think that my cards can bring joy !!!

I created scenes depicting my favorite moments, I used several sets Impronte D'Autore

I really hope you like it 😊!!!!

These are the kind sponsors who joined us for this Art for your Mind theme, and whom we thank very much 💖💖💖
There are 22 sponsors and 24 prizes for you all !!!
Commenting closes on 20 Otober 4:30pm GMT and the winners  will be announced on 25 October on @Mental Health Hop
Winners will be chosen from comments left across all the stops on the hop. Open Interntionally.
